It all started in 2013

The very first Junktoberfest market was launched in October 2013 at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in McCook, NE.  The event featured dozens of vendors who came to sell their rustic, handmade, upcycled and antique items.  In November 2015, Junktoberfest made its debut in Omaha, NE with over 70 vendors housed inside the old Southroads Mall.

Today, Junktoberfest is held semi-annually in Omaha; once in the spring, once in the fall AND annually in the fall in McCook.  The event has grown and expanded in many different ways since its 1st run.  Vendors travel from across the nation to bring their antiques, furniture, collectibles, primitives, rustic, handmade, memorabilia, crafts, delicious food and treats, and good ol'  junk.
